Syrian Refugee Girls in Lebanon

In Lebanon there are almost 200,000 Syrian refugee adolescent girls that are amongst the most unnoticed and vulnerable individuals. Since the conflict began in Syria 4 years ago, more than 1.5 million refugees have arrived in Lebanon as refugees. Probably the most disadvantaged group are the Syrian adolescent girls. In addition to the problems facing for all the refugees in Lebanon as social rejection, inequality and lack of access to essential services, these girls are facing other specific problems such as forced marriages, early pregnancies and child labour.
